This dragon boat competition at North Glenmore Park is Calgary's premier water sports festival. Nearly 1,850 participants and 4,000 spectators gather each year. Numerous multicultural events, music concerts, food trucks and a children's area complete the picture. The teams are made up of 20 people paddling the boat, a tradition that continues and reinforces the spirit of cohesion in order to have fun together.
