Far from the modernism of Brazzaville, this small airport detonates in the landscape when it is known that it is borrowed mostly by a business clientele. On arrival, it's a bit of confusion, you will be controlled by the police and must present your international immunization book with an up-to-date yellow fever vaccine (except in domestic flight). On the other hand, there is only one carpet concentrating all the flights under way to retrieve his luggage… which sometimes implies a very long wait to leave the place! Nevertheless, a brand new airport was built by the same Chinese company as in Brazzaville. But some technical concerns delay its inauguration…

Je travaille sur la façade ouest africaine depuis une dizaine d'année. Les aéroports africains, je les connais. A Pointe Noire, j'ai eu l'impression de remonter le temps, d'être renvoyé à une époque où les fonctionnaires avaient tous les droits. Dans la grande majorité des pays, il y a une lente mais régulière amélioration et une service se rapprochant peu à peu de la norme internationale. Mais pas à Pointe Noire.... Prévoyez de la monnaie ou jouez-là à la dure, à vos périls.
