8 km from Oyo, on a beautiful track through the bush and a vast palm grove, you come to the renowned village of Abo, home of François Ibovi, several times minister. Even more so than in Oyo, the buildings and diversity of the infrastructure make you rub your eyes: cinema, conference hall, swimming pool, pavilions, medical clinic... Unfortunately, most of these facilities are closed, or have never been opened. Apart from a few houses occupied by workers, the clinic and the well-trimmed shrubs, this village seems to have been abandoned.
