MARCHÉ POTO-POTO

This is one of the capital's most important markets. As well as everyday products, you can find the right loincloth in the many stores run by West Africans: from the most basic quality (around 4,000 FCFA) to the very luxurious super loincloths (from 50 to 70,000 FCFA) demanded by the bride's aunts. You can then have the garment of your choice tailored from the loincloth for a small fee. A number of local craft stands are also worth a look.
