MUTAANI

Mutaani, which means "in the city" in Swahili, is an initiative of young Kivuans. Mutaani is a quality media outlet with a radio station, website and magazine. Mutaani's mission is to give a voice to the people of the region, while promoting urban culture, citizen journalism and local content. The aim is to develop critical thinking among young people and encourage them to participate in writing their own history. It is also a production label.
