An essential reference and one of the best restaurants in Goma. A large room with a stylish decor and a subdued atmosphere, and above all a magnificent garden full of flowers overlooking the lake. Literally taken by storm by visitors who like to meet and relax. Especially during the evenings at the cocktail bar Djo's Bar in the back of the garden every Wednesday. As for the restaurant, it offers a mix of international and Congolese dishes with a nice menu of meat and fish, snacks and pizzas. Buffet with BBQ on Sunday lunch. And one of the best coffee shops in the country.

Retour au Chalet en janvier 2017, qui m'avait laissé d'excellents souvenirs en 2010-2012, et grosse déception. Cadre toujours très beau et agreable belle pelouse et bâtiment en bordure du lac, Mais au niveau gastronomique, plats quelconques, peu réussis dans l'ensemble de la tablée. Je ne sais pas quel changement a eu lieu mais grosse perte de qualité.

J lived qlq month with Gummed and the Chalet is a wonderful hotel.
The staff is brilliant (especially ave children). J have a 2 year old little girl, who was the whooping-cough of the boys. Very nice Muriel.
J will like to return to live Gummed, J in protector of super souvenirs
