Numerous churches and places of worship dot the town of Kolwezi. Among the most notable and worthy of note are :

Sainte-Barbe-et-Saint-Éloi Cathedral, located in the commune of Dilala, with its characteristic colonial architectural style.

The Notre-Dame de la Paix-Mariapolis church and parish, which looks more like a chapel, with its small cone-shaped bell tower, built in 1961 in the commune of La Manika.

The stone Cathedral of St. George (Place de la Poste), with its two symmetrical bell towers and rich Byzantine iconography.
