The mythical Hôtel Congo Palace, with its typical architecture and curving cross-shaped towers, has been completely refurbished since our last issue. The project was initiated by the Institut National de Sécurité Sociale, which owns the building. The renovation work was entrusted to a Chinese company. The new version of the Congo Palace boasts 5 stars, 60 rooms, 30 studios and 10 apartments. The contemporary style somewhat overshadows the original architectural cachet... A pity.
