For lovers of old-fashioned charm, it's highly recommended to stop off here, mainly for a beer at the end of the day on the old wooden terrace, facing the river and the setting sun. And to watch the liners slowly make their way up the titanic, majestic waterway towards the ocean. Ernest Hemingway would have appreciated it. As for the very, very rustic rooms, they're not expensive, and that's probably their only advantage. When we stayed there, it was still possible to eat, but family management would be a problem...
