UNIKIN MUSEUM

Created in 1958 as part of the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), the little-known Musée de la Préhistoire was merged in 1977 to form the Musée de l'Unikin, which includes the Musée de la Préhistoire, the Musée Ethnographie and the open-air museum on the university site. The latter presents a collection of objects from excavations carried out on the Kinshasa plain since the end of the ^19th century. Information on how to access the museum is available on site and in advance. It's also an opportunity to visit the university site.
