It was Michel (ex Fleur de Sel) who set the trend with his Balcon. He succeeded in decentralizing the Kinshasa party to the outskirts, bringing together a mixed audience. Another advantage: its elevated location (stairs!) with panoramic views, in a pleasant, open setting. A winning concept that is already being emulated: a Balcon 2 has been opened in Bandal. And competitors are following suit... Small-scale catering (tapas, snacks, pizzas), cocktails, salsa classes and more. It's packed on weekends and a big hit. It's also a great place for after-work.
