AUBERGE DU PICOLET
Opened since July 2003 and piloted by two young and friendly sisters - Dominique and Regine took over their mother's case recently - the Auberge du Picolet is very well located, facing the ocean and its spray, and offers quality benefits. The colonial-style residence, which houses the reception and restaurant, has a distinctive charm, which is both simple and attractive, while the flower-filled courtyard escapes the sweet murmur of a fountain that a family of small turtles has elected for home, reinforcing this pleasant feeling of tranquility. The recent rooms with balconies are clean, tastefully decorated (each one has its character, paying tribute to a historical episode or a facet of Haitian culture), well equipped (clim, cable TV, canalsat, fan, WiFi) and their bathrooms are certainly the most appreciable of the city. The hostel restaurant offers an elegant and relaxed menu in an elegant and relaxed setting. Our heartbeat in Cape Town even for the reception of Dominique and Regine.
