This idyllic sunbathing beach in Arica regularly hosts surfing competitions.
Ideal for a little sunbathing or catching some waves, this pretty beach regularly hosts surfing competitions and has a few restaurants along the waterfront. Further north along the coast and beyond the pier is Las Manchas beach. Beware, the current here is stronger, so swimming is not recommended. If you walk a little further, towards the mouth of the Rio Lluta, you will find a more intimate, wilder and preserved place, ideal for bird watching.
