A museum dedicated to the indigenous peoples of the region and the épopée landscape. Its main archaeological collection comes from the Cerro Esmeralda; His most remarkable element is a Inca princess (1450-1500) mummified with her clothes. The museum also exhibits uniforms, weapons, documents and personal belongings of the Saltpeter magnat, Santiago Saltpeter. On the patio, the rebuilding of an indigenous house will delight children. Finally, on the Baquedano, a museum dependency hosts temporary exhibitions. The whole one deserves a visit.
