This vast array of radio telescopes with 66 antennas, considered to be the most ambitious astronomical project in the world, has taken up residence in the Atacama Desert. ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array), intends to revolutionize science by studying our cosmic origins both in space and in time. The result of a worldwide collaboration between Europe, the United States and Japan, this 1 billion dollar project offers visitors the chance to discover how it works. In short, breathtaking!
