Nestled at the foot of the eponymous volcano, this modest village has developed thanks to forestry. Victim of a fire in 1970, it preserves a memory of its past: on the beach, you will be able to contemplate the Vapor Enco, an abandoned boat, dating from the beginning of the last century. The development of the Mocho-Choshuenco national reserve, the ski center on the slopes of the volcano, as well as the Panguipulli lake, favor the tourist career of the village, in the heart of a beautiful landscape. After a sporty day on the ski slopes or on the rapids of the Llanquihue River, the thermal baths are never far away. It is possible to camp at the campsite, only in summer.
