Curicó's new hospital is a modern, spacious facility offering high-quality healthcare services to the province's population. With a surface area of 109,152 m2, it is five times larger than the old building. It has 400 hospital beds, including 54 for critical patients, as well as 9 emergency cubicles, 12 operating theatres, 5 delivery rooms and 16 procedure rooms. It also has 800 parking spaces and a helipad for emergency medical transfers. The new hospital is designed to withstand earthquakes thanks to an anti-seismic structure. It is also environmentally friendly and easily accessible to pedestrians and vehicles. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a safe, patient-friendly environment.
