The Happy House Hostel is a 3-star youth hostel located in the city of Santiago. Housed in a Spanish colonial-style building, it offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The hostel is just a 5-minute walk from a metro station and 11 minutes from the Palacio de La Moneda, the office of the President of Chile. Rooms are warmly and casually decorated, with private or shared bathrooms and safes. Some rooms feature retro-style furnishings. Dormitories can accommodate 6 to 8 people and are equipped with bunk beds and lockers. Hostel facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, barbecue area, terraces, rustic cellar bar, shared kitchen, TV lounge, board games and laundry facilities. A free buffet breakfast is served in a convivial dining area. The Happy House Hostel also offers free Wi-Fi and is child-friendly. It has a restaurant, and some rooms have kitchens.
Petite piscine bienvenue après avoir déambulé toute la journée, même si l'eau est un peu froide.
Bon petit déjeuner pour le pays, avec du vrai café !
Personnel pas toujours très aimable (sans doute la rançon du succès) et fâcheuse tendance à demander paiement en pesos chiliens en surfacturant la note de Booking (sur les 2 séjours) en prétextant la baisse du cours. Du coup demander à payer en dollars américains !
