Beach reserved for residents of the town, a great sport for surfing, swimming and walking on the sand
The beach is normally reserved for Auroville residents, but no one really controls its entrance... It is one of the most beautiful beaches around Pondy. Almost wild, the beach is regularly cleaned and is an excellent spot for surfing, swimming, walking on the sand or watching the sunrise. Olive ridley sea turtles sometimes come here to lay their eggs. A counter installed in a straw hut allows you to taste delicious guava or papaya juice. Several restaurant options are available nearby.
