Every day, this center offers Kathakali shows, which start at 5 pm with the actors' make-up session, then the one-hour show at 6 pm. The room is superb, all in woodwork, and there is even a small balcony. From 7 to 8 pm, Kalarippayattu demonstrations. From Sunday to Friday, concerts of Indian classical music take place at 8 pm, while Saturday evening is devoted to South Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam in particular). Dance, singing and music classes are also offered.

This cultural center is an institution in Kochi. All the traditional Kerala arts (Kathakali, of course, but also many others) are studied and presented here. The visit of Prince Charles and Camilla on November 11, 2013 serves as a promotional tool displayed everywhere. An annex is located in Fort Kochi, on KB Jacob Road, close to Hotel 18. Every day the annex offers Kathakali shows, aimed more at tourists than those in Ernakulam, which begin at 4:30 pm with the actors' make-up session.
