Guesthouse offering a ghat-floor location, clean, spacious rooms, patio and terrace dining
One of the favorite places for backpackers from all over the world, despite the high prices. Its location in the middle of the ghat is ideal and its painted wooden facade gives it the air of a Buddhist temple. The color is a bias and it is always very bright in the rooms. They are clean, spacious and air-conditioned. However, the rates are a bit excessive for the rooms overlooking the Ganges. Restaurant in the patio and on the large terrace, yoga classes, massages... Reservations are strongly recommended.

The Gampati Guest House is ideally located on the ghats in the center of Varanasi, very good rooftop restaurant with views of the Ghats, the Black Mosque and the Golden Temple. The boss long lived in Spain and is a wealth of information and advice to visit the vile, take a boat tour on the river or book train or bus tickets. I commend warmly
