CITY MUSEUM & KITE MUSEUM

In a building built by Le Corbusier in 1954, the first museum traces the history of the city. On the first floor, a gallery houses the Kite Museum. The collection of the city museum consists of pottery, beautiful black and white photographs illustrating the glory days of the city, religious processions and visits of personalities, as well as a beautiful exhibition of Gujarati fabrics. The space reserved for Shivaism, Jain, Parsi, Sikh, Muslim, Christian and Jewish objects of worship. Upstairs is a contemporary design gallery.
