CALICO MUSEUM

This private museum placed in a magnificent park with trees, is a beautiful tribute to textile art. The teak building alone is a marvel. The fabrics are presented by periods, regions and techniques. Mirror embroideries from Kutch, printed cottons using different techniques(tie and die or block print), embroidered silk hangings and patola from Patan. You can choose to visit the galleries, the gardens or the museum. Guided tours are mandatory and are in English. Reservations must be made on the website, by email or by phone before coming.
