MATSYA FESTIVAL

This cultural festival held for 2 days at the end of November is one of the most popular in Rajasthan. Participants attend traditional dance and music performances in the courtyard of Alwar Palace. Every year, top Indian flute players are invited to perform. The festival is also famous for its "adventure" activities which are held during the day: hot air ballooning, paragliding, zorbing (you place yourself in a plastic bubble to go down the slopes). Other more traditional games are also offered.
