Open from 6am to 11pm, it has 9 lines for a network of over 200 km.

Tickets are magnetictokens valid for one trip, or a magnetic Tourist Card with unlimited trips. There is also a rechargeable card if you stay in Delhi for a long time or make few trips. At the entrance of each station, be prepared to be searched.

The search is systematic at the entrance of the metro and you must deposit your bag which will be X-rayed. Men and women must line up separately for the body search.

In service from 6am to 11pm. Ask for a plan of metro (free) the Tourist Office or within the boundary of metro. Single ticket: from Rs10 to Rs60 depending on the number of stations. Unlimited Tourist card: Rs200 for midnight, Rs500 for 72h.

Voilà le 3ème voyage où nous séjournons à New Delhi avec mon Epouse ...Les différentes lignes desservent , le plus souvent à l'extérieur , l'immense Mégapole et pour 3 sous ( roupies , bien sûr ) , on peut aller partout .Très sûr , avec sécurité , pour les sacs et passagers , très propres , passagers courtois ( personnes avec cheveux blancs sont assurés de voyager assis...! ) et rapides , car il n'y a pas les trafics fous et les bruits de la rue . Intéressant de prendre , plutôt que les tokens pour une destination ,c'est d'acheter un Pass pour 1 ou 3 jours , aux trajets illimités ( penser à se faire rembourser le Pass en fin d'usage et on vous rendra les 50 roupis par carte )
Transport urbain hautement recommandé .

Very practical because the city is very wide and many tourist sites are well served; When you are staying several days, it is better to take the pass, otherwise you indicate the station and sold the corresponding token. Very clean, good signs, nothing to say! The bags are excavated and surveillance looks serious!
