Situated on a small square on the edge of the Mellah, this tiny establishment really deserves encouragement. The dishes on offer are delicious, the welcome superb and the value for money excellent. Depending on your tastes, you can have lunch in a pretty little room or on the sunny micro-terrace. Every day, the menu features a vegetarian platter, grilled meats with fresh salads, 2 daily specials and an array of desserts. Whatever your choice, the dish will be well presented, hearty and always subtly spiced.

Of particular when we visited in Essaouira: CAFÉ TARA! A place that we can only recommend that it seems to have concentrated the best of our expectations: quality, originality, efficiency (have even on holiday), the reception, hygiene, all in all the more pleasant simplicity and the artistic ever-present, some and unpretentious, dish to the wash-stand, also take care of this for happiness. Discovered in October 2011, we liked this small restaurant serving unpretentious dishes of excellent value. Very warm welcome of the owner and staff. If you are passing through Essaouira, do not hesitate to you to stop there will not be disappointed. We have been eating excellent couscous.
