The village of Ait Ben Haddou is the most famous KASABAH in the Ounila valley. The Ait Ben Haddou KASBAH is inspired by southern Moroccan architecture. It is a group of collective dwellings inside defensive walls reinforced with towers and angles, and pierced by a chicane door.
Numerous houses, some modest, others resembling small urban castles, with their high corner towers decorated at the top with decorative motifs in unbaked brick. But also community buildings and spaces.
The Kasbah d'Aït Ben Haddou is a prime example of the Kasbahs of southern Morocco, illustrating the main types of earthen construction seen from the 17th century onwards in the Dra, Todgha, Dadès and Souss valleys.
As enthusiasts of our village, our cultural and architectural heritage, and the Moroccan art of living and entertaining, we decided to build this guest house, known as the "Riad d'Ait BenHaddou", in the form of a riad with a patio in the middle, respecting tradition with towers reminiscent of kasbah architecture using local mâtereaux.

Riad Ait Benhaddou is a 610m2 haven of peace and quiet, with 10 rooms and suites, each decorated with attention to detail. The luxury of the space preserves the privacy of each guest. The dining room and terrace can be used at any time of day. The solarium allows guests to relax and enjoy meals and drinks s overlooking the atlas and kasbah.
