One of the most famous kitesurs and surf spots in the city. This hotel is among our favorites in Dakhla. For its breathtaking view of the turquoise lagoon and its structure of wooden bungalows scattered in a large garden, with views of the ocean. The staff is very pro-friendly. The atmosphere is completely relaxed, you feel cut off from the world.

Owner's Message
OCEAN VAGABOND has been established in the Bay of Essaouira since 1995, and since 2004 has been home to Club Mistral. For your enjoyment, we have moved to the best spot: just before the bend on THE SPOT for waves, where the wind is at its most regular.
For much of the year, N-NE winds blow across the Bay of Essaouira, which runs from north to south. In short, it’s a perfect side-shore starboard spot. The NW swell is sheltered from the wind by the port’s sea wall and offers an ideal water surface for beginners. In the middle of the bay the water is choppier, and downwind in front of the centre, there are some nice waves which are ideal for "bump and jump".
And to help you appreciate this sport even more, Club Mistral offers you the cream of the year’s gear: we have Fanatic and Mistral floats with full carbon North Sails rigging, and the whole kitesurfing is school equipped with North gear. It’s all state-of-the-art!
For your safety, all our instructors are IKO-certified and the navigation area is constantly supervised by 2 boats.
Océan Vagabond-Club Mistral also has a team of "local heroes", united in their love of board sports of all kinds: windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, SUP surfing and kayaking. Our only wish is to share our passion, our spot, our town and our country!
