Musée national de la céramique in the Cité des Arts, housing various exhibitions and pieces from archaeological digs
The National Museum of Ceramics has been located within the City of Arts since 2014 (it was located at the Kasbah of Dar Sultan since 1990). Entirely renovated in 2018, the place is exceptional. We discover different exhibitions organized by sections. Pieces from archaeological excavations retrace the contributions of different civilizations to this art form practiced since the Neolithic period. The most important section of the museum is dedicated to the ceramics of Fez and Safi. It includes works by contemporary artists. Located on the heights of the city overlooking the ocean, this museum is above all a place of homage to the diversity of the Kingdom's ceramics.
