People come to Témara for its long sandy beaches. A coastal town like Skhirat or Bouznika, Témara has many beaches such as El Harhoura, Sables d'Or, Contrebandiers, Val d'or or Casino, which follow one another along the Atlantic coast towards Casablanca. Beware of untimely swimming, the beach (and generally speaking all the beaches of this part of the coast) can be dangerous, accidents unfortunately happen quite regularly. It is possible to practice surfing or angling.
