A pretty yellow building dating from the 19th century and listed as a national architectural heritage site, Dar Omar Khayam is not lacking in history, having been a church in its early days, a convalescent hospital during the First World War and even a convent during Spanish colonization. Today, this boarding house, located 50 m from the beach and a 10-minute walk from the medina, offers basic, clean rooms at unbeatable prices. Large indoor and outdoor lounge in a small garden. As the hotel is gradually being refurbished, ask for the renovated rooms!

We therefore back a few weeks later during our visit and we were very disappointed. Very little attention from the staff and the humid linen: we 'almost did not sleep at night we passed to greloter...
Breakfast is Western and without characteristic. To shower to the above toilets... we did not even try so we were cold and the room was humid. The large patio is however charming but the very uneven rooms!
For the same price, there is certainly better in Tangier.
What else!
Located near the medina and the seaside, pension Dar Omar Khayam is a feast for the eyes. It is really the square or the well-being.
The welcome is very friendly, the rooms are spacious and the staff is always ready to provide information and advice on the places and good places to be seen.
