Clinging to one of Yaoundé's seven hills, the Central Hôtel is one of the city's first hotels. Standard rooms are clean and well-maintained, and all have en-suite bathrooms with hot water. The establishment also boasts a large outdoor garden, a parking lot, an independent bar-restaurant, an airport shuttle and even a wifi connection for part of the premises. It is known to be frequented by the staff of nearby ministries, and even by a few ministers. It is very well located.

We choose this hotel at each time we arrive at Yaoundé.Les rooms are decent, but there is often a water problem if you reserve on the 1st floor
The prices are very reasonable and can be negotiated
The restaurant opposite is friendly and good, the wine is expensive
