PLACE OF THE SERBIAN LEADERS

Dominated by the cathedral of Christ-Savior, it is now the center of the city. His name refers to the banovine governors of the Vrbas (period of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, 1929-1945). It is bordered by Kralja Petra I Karađorđevića (main thoroughfare of downtown) and east by the small Bana Milosavljevića park. North and south are 3 important buildings: Municipal Palace, Palais des Bans, Presidential Palace. The square is located between the pedestrian streets Bana Milosavljevića (north) and Gospodska (south).
