ÉGLISE DE LA RÉSURRECTION-DU-CHRIST

This large unfinished Catholic church (Crkva Kristova Uskrsnuća) is planned to second the current Mary Mother of the Church Cathedral as the seat of the diocese. However, the project, which was launched in 1994, only resulted in the construction of the base of the building. Since 2008, construction has been halted, in part because the land belongs to a Jewish family that was despoiled during the Second World War. Just across the street, to the north, the project for a large mosque has also been stalled since 2011.
