COLLEGIUM ARTISTICUM

This municipal gallery was founded in 1975 by Bosnian artists trained in Paris such as the painter Ismet Mujezinović. It is named after a brief artistic movement active in Sarajevo from 1939 until the invasion of 1941. Once renowned throughout Yugoslavia, it still organizes the most prestigious competition of contemporary art, architecture and design in the country, whose awards are presented on April 6. The rooms present the work of the candidates, but also the work of other Bosnian and foreign creators. Concerts and events throughout the year.
