FIKRET PENDEK

Unique experience! Fikret Pendek organizes descents of the Tara and Drina rivers in a 2-ton wooden raft. Originally from Foča and based in Sarajevo, he is the president of the Tara and Drina River Rafters Association founded by his father Adem, who started river tourism in the region in 1958 and was killed during the 1992 massacres. The Pendek family was the first to organize such trips, in 1905, on behalf of Austrians exploiting the forests. Excursions are by reservation from Montenegro to Hum, Foča or Goražde.
