TRAMWAY DE SARAJEVO

This streetcar network (Tramvaji) is convenient to travel between the old and new town. It is one of the oldest in Europe: it was created in 1885 with horse-drawn vehicles. It is operated by the public transport company GRAS and combines Czech Tatra K2 trains from the 1970s and 1980s with modern trains. All six lines run east-west between Baščaršija and Ilidža (11 km), but only line 3 runs the entire route. Line 1 connects Baščaršija with the railway station (next to the bus station).
