At 1,200 m in the forest above Gourdjaani, the 8th-century Cathedral of the Dormition of the Virgin, a monument, is the only example of a two-domed church in Georgia. A taxi will take you for 5 GEL from Gourdjaani. The road leading to it starts from the Gourdjaani-Telavi road on the left. If you enter Gourdjaani, a sign (in Georgian, in red) indicates "Khvelatsmida, Church of All Saints". Inside, the arches and domes are made of brick and it is decorated with two domes covered with sheet metal. In the middle of the forest, the site is out of the world, harmonious, off the beaten track.
