AMANDE & CANNELLE
Michel-Jean Amiel and his wife Caroline welcome you to Amande & Canelle where all the delights of oriental pastry are shared: gazelle horns, makroutes with dates, almond and lemon djiriates as well as some Lebanese specialities of course. Almond & Cinnamon is famous for its chocolates with jasmine or rose flavours, its financiers with orange blossom and its delicious oriental ganaches. Every morning, mattresses baked on tagine, Algerian breads with sesame and scented flower seeds and semolina breads are made. The windows are also filled with more traditional pastries such as macaroons or lemon tarts. For gluten intolerants, you can choose the Batchata made of chocolate mousse, vanilla crème brûlée and flour-free chocolate biscuit. A counter allows you to set up for breakfast or a salty lunch break. Outdoor tables are also available on sunny days. Caroline also offers soups in winter and hot dishes that vary according to the seasons.
