A 100% local, home-made delicatessen!
Julien wanted to bring the specialties of his Alsatian fief to downtown Strasbourg: Dampfnudle (steamed white bread rolls). You'll find this recipe modernized with "dampf'burgers", "dampf'dogs" or "dampf'croqs". The famous kaesknepfles and other traditional dishes complete the menu. Seating is available for lunch on site, but takeaway is also possible. In the grocery store, you'll find charcuterie, cheeses, artisanal jars, wines and spirits and other local delicacies.

Le pain dampfnudel était trés bon mais pas si mémorable que ça, la star du show au final c'etait la viande que j'ai trouvé trés savoureuse dans le burger. . Le cadre est pas ouf par contre, pas tres comfortable, alors que les prix sont ceux d'un restaurant, c'est peut être ça qui m'a le plus gêné.

We waited more than 40mins and when we told that to the girl in the cashier, her attitude just like “ I know I know “???? maybe that’s how french treat foreigners. Or it’s bc they underestimate us. We paid for our food, it’s not free and we weren’t begging for free food either. The food was not really outstanding, nothing special.

Le cadre du restaurant était très chaleureux, la décoration était originale et les produits sont de qualité. J’ai pris une formule hot dog, le mélange de lard était très salé et la choucroute rendait le pain un peu humide ce que je trouvais dommage.
