Once past the monument-gate, you will discover the splendour of the villa and its wooded park of 1.2 hectares, a protected natural setting rich in a herbaceous layer, young shoots and dead wood. Little known to the citizens of Strasbourg, it is nevertheless pleasant with its very natural side and its calm. Large trees shelter squirrels and you can simply listen to the wind that stirs the leaves. It is the starting point of a very nice walk towards the "Chemin des Civelles".
