Building offering a guided tour that includes a presentation of the European Parliament, a film and a tour.

Designed by Architecture-Studio Europe, the Louise Weiss building, inaugurated in 1999, houses the headquarters of the European Parliament. Members of parliament from the 27 member countries of the European Union meet here once a month. The welcome program includes a visit to the interactive Simone Veil Parliamentarium, a tour of the hemicycle galleries, and an explanation of how the European Parliament works. Valid identification is required for entry. Access arrangements vary from session to session: check the website for details.

Le Liechtenstein préside le Conseil de l’Europe…. Comment ne pas être effaré !!!
On expulse la Russie, on soutient l’un des pays les plus corrompus d’Europe et on laisse l’un de ceux qui blanchit l’argent de ce petit monde prendre la tête (tournante certes) de l’institution.
Une institution qui sert à quoi finalement ? Elle est coûteuse, occulte et inefficace, mais surtout, elle est le repère ultime de technocrates qui n’ont qu’une obsession : préserver leurs privilèges. Ces gens sont hors-sol !
Seul mérite finalement, faire de notre bonne ville de Strasbourg une capitale européenne.

Das Palais de l'Europe, welches vom französischen Architekten Henry Bernard entworfen und 1977 eingeweiht wurde, ist das Hauptgebäude des Europarates und wird von den Fahnen der 46 Mitgliedstaaten flankiert. Hier arbeitet man an der Einhaltung der Menschenrechte, Stärkung der politischen Stabilität in Europa und Lösung gesellschaftlicher Probleme (Korruption, Terrorismus, organisiertes Verbrechen, Diskriminierung etc.).
Wir waren im Rahmen einer Fortbildungsreise hier und es war sehr interessant. Die Führung war kurzweilig und informativ. Das Gebäude ist wirklich sehr imposant.
