This necropolis is home to numerous tombstones and sarcophagi, including the imposing mausoleum of Marshal Maurice de Saxe
Nicknamed "the cathedral's granddaughter", Saint-Thomas church has been around for 800 years! Founded in the 7th century by Bishop Saint Florent, it was rebuilt in 1144 after a fire. A veritable cornucopia of funerary sculptures, the necropolis houses numerous tombstones and sarcophagi, including the mausoleum of Marshal Maurice de Saxe, the work of sculptor Pigalle. The church is also home to a monumental Silbermann organ, listed as a Monument Historique.
