Created at the initiative of the Alsace Region in 1994, the OLCA aims to promote the vitality of the regional identity of Alsace through its linguistic and cultural specificities. It is an information and documentation center in the areas of regional language and culture. OLCA works for a stronger presence of alsatian in all areas by supporting initiatives by communities, administrations, businesses, associations and individuals. You find on the website, thematic lexics in sound version, an interactive language map, a directory rich in more than 500 contacts, extracts from songs, dictons… If you wish to learn Alsacian, please contact the OLCA which will give you the address of a course near you.
