The City of Strasbourg, in partnership with the Librairie Kléber and the media libraries, organises the Bibliothèques Idéales, a festival dedicated to books, literature, authors and thought. For ten days, a hundred or so French and foreign authors, both well-known and more confidential, come to Strasbourg to exchange with their audiences on a variety of themes. Lectures, readings, shows and concerts are held in various public places in the city (Opera, Aubette, Palais de la Musique...) and in many bookshops. More than 70 literary and musical events each year! A cultural meeting for everyone with a chance to get closer to your favourite authors!
