The absolute best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in France. From the checkin, to the breakfast, and the bar...everything was divine.

The location was sublime, absolutely a dreamy stay. An Ode to how Autograph Collection hotels should be, and especially way beyond the standard I have been experiencing lately. The design of this hotel deserves to be shared in magazines, they got it right!

Maison Rouge did not meet my expectations for an autograph collection hotel. I have stayed at many autograph collection hotels around the world for leisure and the Maison Rouge does not provide comparable service. The front desk staff were cold and unfriendly. At check in I was assigned a room with a strong sewage odour (room 420) and the room was entirely too warm. When we reported this to reception they said that they would need to come "verify" the issue and when they looked at the room we were told "you won't need to worry about the room being too hot because the heat system is not working in that room anyways." If the heating is not working in the room why was it being used and assigned to guests? At check in my marriott status was not recognized and I needed to ask about breakfast and the food and beverage credit, which only covers non alcoholic beverages. This is something I've never encountered at other autograph collection hotels and was extremely disappointing. The breakfast was also disappointing, with many of the pastry items being served stale. The final straw with the stay was seeing a guest's dog peeing in the reception area which was not addressed at all by staff watching. The staff could have at least phoned someone to throw a towel down while they took care of other guests. Overall I would have to recommend marriott members who expect their loyalty to be acknowledged to stay at another marriott in the area.

Our team is trained to provide warm and attentive service, and it's disheartening to learn that your interaction at the front desk did not reflect this standard. Regarding room temperature, we typically have a set standard for comfort, yet we are always willing to assist with any adjustments upon request. The unexpected odor and heating issue in the room you were assigned is certainly not up to our usual standards. We take such feedback seriously and will address your concerns.

Additionally, our breakfast aims to delight with fresh, local specialties, and we're looking into your comments to ensure the highest quality is maintained.

The handicapped room was given without informing the guest while waiting for the check-in time at 4.

While called reception Pascal, who insisted that this room was for all guests. See the picture of my room.

Being in the hospitality industry, the satisfaction of the guests should be the priority not even in my case. The duty manager takes care of the team but at least shows them a good example rather than taking their side. (At least tell me before I enter the room with a huge surprise)

Finally, I had to wait for my room after 4 pm to get the room that I reserved.

스트라스부르그 여행을 갈때 호텔예약을 하지 않고 즉흥적으로 간거라 가자마자 예약하려니 크리스마스 시즌이라 다 예약완료고 멘붕온 상태에서 비싸도 고른곳인데 위치도 너무 완벽하고 다 마음에 드는곳이었어요. 한가지 방음이 좀 잘 안된다는게...이건 유럽에선 어쩔 수 없는거겠죠. 소음빼고는 완벽했습니다.

Hotel excelente y ubicación perfecta en el centro de Estrasburgo ideal para disfrutar de los mercados navideños. El restaurante también es excelente para comer o tomar algo, lo recomiendo al 100%. Aunque la fianza que nos hicieron pagar al llegar no nos lo supieron explicar claramente, siendo un hotel de cinco estrellas deberian poder atendernos en varios idiomas, no solo en francés e inglés.

This hotel is very central to all of the hotspots in Strasbourg. We came here for the weekend from Germany to visit the Christmas markets.

As an American Express Platinum card holder (I can see why this hotel is not a part of American Express Fine Hotel+Resorts) and a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status holder, the service I received here was quite frankly laughable, and this is a "5-star" hotel I am referring to.

Upon arriving, there were no doormen to greet guests - I have never experienced this in a 5-star, the staff at the front desk seemed frantic, disorganized and wanting to be anywhere but there. We arrived at 11:30am, and as a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status holder I am allotted early check-in. Alas, I was told my room "wasn't ready yet as the current guest has not checked out". Okay, interesting. No matter, my wife and I dropped off our bags and we grabbed some lunch and visited the markets. We came back to the hotel at 3:00pm and were told the room still was not ready and it will be ready by 4pm, great. So my wife and I decided to have a drink in the bar next to the reception area. At 4pm, we decided to join the moderately long queue to check in, who also had been given the same treatment as us. Surprise, surprise, our room is still not ready! Imagine that! We were told our new check-in time would be in 20 minutes. We were given a voucher for two drinks at the bar we had just left earlier while waiting for our meticulously deep-cleaned room (haha) to be ready. This establishment's recourse for poor service to guests is alcohol. At approximately 4:40 we were finally given our room keys and were told we can take the elevator or stairs, no help with our luggage by the way, also have never experienced this in any other 5-star.

The room had spiderwebs in the corner of the ceiling and my wife found one spider dropping down on top of her luggage, as well as a spider in the bathroom. Maybe the long wait was feeding the pet spiders that come with each room?

I am quite frankly disappointed with my stay here, luckily the beauty of Strasbourg and the other establishments in the city made up for a rather distasteful lodging experience. If I were to relate the way this hotel treats its guests to something it would be similar to herding cattle or possibly 3-star service at a hotel in Ibiza.

When we return to Strasbourg we will make it a point to overlook rebooking this establishment.

Séjour enchanteur dans ce magnifique hôtel en plein centre de la ville, au cœur des marchés de Noël. Un personnel attentif et souriant prêt a répondre à toutes nos demandes avec une mention spéciale pour Romain qui a été aux petits soins pour nous. Un grand merci pour ce séjour qui nous donne envie de revenir très vite.

Hôtel de bon standing avec de belles chambres et une décoration générale sympa.
Le petit déjeuner est cher (34€) mais très bien et très complet. Le personnel y est très agréable et efficace.
Le restaurant est petit, en fait situé dans le bar de l’hôtel. Le lieu est là aussi sympa, un service efficace et rapide, mais en rapport qualité / prix élevé. Les mets sont bons mais standards
En revanche le service de réception est bien laborieux avec une désorganisation apparente. Check in très long malgré d’une multitude de personnes qui s’agitent derrière le comptoir et pourtant pas de foule particulière.
Une proposition de la conciergerie pour un À/R à la commission européenne à 328 € ! J’ai réservé directement par une société de taxi strasbourgeoise la même prestation : résultat À/R pour 80 € (oui, oui !)

Tout simplement Waouw ! Je repars de Strasbourg avec des étoiles pleins les yeux grâce à cet hôtel et quel accueil de Samantha !! J’ai rarement vu une réceptionniste aussi gentille, drôle et aux petits soins ????
Vraiment je recommande !!

11/16에 트윈룸에서 1 night 숙박하였습니다. 호텔 위치와 방은 좋았습니다만, deposit 환불이 되지 않아습니다. 메일로 문의했을 때 컨시지어의 응대는 매우 불편했습니다.
Deposit 금액도 숙박 금액보다 훨씬 커서 이해가 되질 않습니다.
에약 시 EUR 216, 체크인시 EUR 323.60, 체크아웃 4일후 룸서비스 비용인지 EUR 54.60
심지어 룸서비스 이용 금액은 체크아웃 4일 후 카드에서 결제되었습니다. Bonvoy에 다시 확인을 요청했지만 매우 실망스럽습니다.
스트라스부르에서는 차라리 IHG의 Voco 호텔을 이용하세요. Deposit 처리가 체크아웃시 즉각 이루어졌습니다.

We have made an authorization on your credit card for an amountof 323.60€, but if you see on the ticket, only 54.60€ has been debited.
There is no double payment.

We are sorry for the misunderstanding. We always make a pre-authorisation of the amount of the night+city tax+50€ extra per person. With this pre-authorisation we have charged 54.60€ (room service 48€+ city tax 6.60€) at the check-out. You can check this amount on your invoice.

A top location in central Strasbourg for a top experience. Staff at reception was great and very friendly, which is not always the case for so many stars; I really appreciated this, keep it real please. Breakfast was faultless. Had the spa and massage experience which was also top notch. Last but not least the overall interior design and vibe of the hotel was unexpected but on point.

Hotel et spa magnifiques mais assez déçue du brunch.
Si vous n’avez pas d’allergies alimentaires vous serez ravis du choix et de la qualité des produits.
Mais pour ma part, ayant des allergies alimentaires, je m’attendais à obtenir une carte des allergènes étant donné le standing de l’établissement.
Au final, je n’ai pu manger que le quart des mets proposés et je m’attendais au moins à petit geste commercial de la part de l’établissement.
(Prix enfants par exemple)

Nous y avons brunché pour la fête des mères. Services impeccable, le choix est très copieux et tout est très bon !
Le lieu est grand agréable et très jolie, malgré le monde nous avons jamais été dérangé par le bruit ou le nombre de personnes autour du buffet.

Really bad and arrogant service. If you book this hotel for the spa and relaxation, my recommendation: DON‘T DO IT! Very unfriendly personnel, who is not there to check you in in the spa, but opens the door of the sauna to literally kick you out from the sauna because „there are special guests waiting“ who are more important than the regular guests. I have seen many 5 star hotels in my life, but this hotel is (1) not a 5 star hotel and (2) a real shame: treating guests like this is completely unacceptable. This has been a very sad experience for us and has ruined our weekend in Strasbourg.

L’hôtel maison rouge est idéalement situé en plein centre de Strasbourg. A quelques pas du tram, des parkings et de la cathédrale. Accéder au parking Kléber n’est pas simple mais c’est le plus proche de l’hôtel. La chambre est très jolie, décoration sobre et élégante. La literie est très confortable. A disposition dans la chambre, il y a une machine nespresso, un petit réfrigérateur, des produits clarins ( gel lavant pour les mains, lait pour le corps, gel douche, shampoing et après-shampoing) et un sèche cheveux. Le déjeuner est fantastique avec un buffet bien garni et une carte de plats chauds ou froids. Comme attendu dans un hôtel de ce standing, tout est impeccable et propre. Le spa comprend un jacuzzi un sauna et un hamam à réserver au préalable. En résumé, c’est un magnifique hôtel avec de belles prestations et un personnel très professionnel.

I am traveling a lot.. but this Hotel is a real must try experience. Such a nice and perfect design.. in EVERY detail.. located in the heart of Straßburg - with a super nice Bar serving the perfect cocktail...

J'ai organisé un événement dans Les Salons Mistinguett pour un tea time. Tout était parfait, que ce soit l'accueil ou les services. Surtout, mes invités ont souvent des restrictions alimentaires strictes et ils ont parfois du mal à bien manger lors d'événements de ce genre. Mais cette fois-ci, ils étaient tous ravis d'avoir pu se régaler et d'avoir eu le choix de ce qu'ils mangeaient. Nous avons été émerveillés par la décoration, qui était parfaite pour notre tea time, et on nous a permis de prendre des photos partout dans l'enseigne (ce qui est très important pour nous), ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement du moment. Je n'hésiterai pas à revenir, non seulement pour organiser un autre tea time, mais aussi pour profiter d'un séjour dans cet établissement tout simplement magnifique ! Merci encore :)

Hotel magnifique. Pour un séjour romantique c'est l'idéal. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuse et très propre, personnel très serviable, petit déjeuner avec énormément de choix. Il faut juste penser à réserver le spa en même temps que votre chambre. En bref séjour fabuleux.

I’m a faithful Marriott guy. Madison Rouge was on of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s vibey and in the heart of the city. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Fantastic location, bit hard to find by car. Parking in public garage closeby and walk there is easier.
