Restaurant at the end of the Grand-Rue offering traditional Creole cuisine.
Bourbon Island is the former name of the French department of La Réunion. Unsurprisingly, this restaurant on the Grand-Rue offers traditional Creole cuisine, spiced without excess (the brave will ask for a little more chilli, offered on the side). All the classics are present: acras and beignets, followed by curry, cod or smoked sausage rougail. For dessert, coconut tart and flambéed bananas are the perfect finishing touch. Add a punch or rhum arrangé, and you'll feel like you're traveling!
