In a traditional and rustic setting with its furniture, tablecloths and woodwork (don't miss the chandelier made of wine glasses), this somewhat noisy restaurant, with multiple rooms and large tables, whose pretty terrace overlooks the Ill River, serves above all regional specialties: presskopf, snails, sauerkraut or even knuckle of pork au gratin with Munster cheese. Rich and hearty dishes prepared in the kitchen of chef Frédéric Kurtz, which will delight big appetites. During the day, the Ancienne Douane becomes a winstub and offers small dishes continuously.

Quelle déception! Ce fut un restaurant classe avec une cuisine locale excellence et variété. C’est devenu une cantine sans saveur. Une seule choucroute au menu, servie 24 secondes après la commande, fade et pire qu’une choucroute en boîte. Desserts nuls. Fuyez l’Aperol, il y a plus d’eau que de Prosecco. Heureusement un serveur etait assez sympa. Ce n’est plus une adresse incontournable
