Nice address with terrace in Strasbourg serving a varied menu for a lunch break or a dinner with friends
Inaugurated by the mayor of Strasbourg, Le Canon regained its affiliation with the marks of Kronenbourg. In these places, the café de Jérôme Hatt opened in the seventeenth century, giving rise to the saga of the Kronenbourg breweries. The new owners of the hotel worked to restore it in the atmosphere of the time, with the support of the brewery to decorate the establishment with objects of the 1664 mark, when Jérôme Hatt graduated from a brewer. With a capacity of 350 seats, a very varied map, and ideally located on a tourist circuit, the Canon is a beautiful address for a lunch break or a dinner between friends. The terrace is very pleasant.

Le menu est principalement composé de spécialités locales. Nous avons pris du fuagra et des escargots, c'était comme partout en Alsace, les pommes de terre et le camembert étaient très bons. Les pommes de terre et le camembert étaient très bons. Bonne sélection de vins, à des prix très raisonnables.
La note de 4 étoiles est principalement pour l'apparence du restaurant dans son ensemble - un peu désordonné, pas d'atmosphère, etc
Point négatif à l’étage quand il y a du monde ça devient vite bruyant et difficile de pouvoir s’entendre.
Le service est plutôt bien roder et serveur assez sympa.
