HISTORY MUSEUM

Opened in 1932, the Tara History Museum is one of the oldest museums in the Omsk region. It is located in a brick building from the pre-revolutionary period, the former house of the Volkov merchants. It contains the exhibitions "Flora and Fauna of the Tara District" and "History of Tara from 1594 to 1917", reconstructed interiors of peasant and merchant houses, a collection of old samovars and typical Russian utensils.
